Effect of Different Sowing Dates and Varieties on Mustard Growth and Yield in Prayagraj Conditions

A field experiment was conducted during the winter seasons of 2021-22 at Research farm college forestry Sam Higginbottom University Agriculture Technology and Science Prayagraj (U. P) to investigate effect different sowing dates varieties on Mustard growth yield in conditions Keeping this view Factorial RBD with three replications having two factors. First factor comprised 15Oct. 30Oct. 15Nov. whereas second consists Indian mustard viz; Maharaja Mustard, Md Rani Supergold, Kala Sona, Crop sown 15th November recorded statistically significant higher seed yield, stover test weight, harvest index maturity best consumption heat units like gdd, htu ptu as compared 30th October sowing. In case plant parameters mustard, maximum under height, no leaves branches, silique, optimum use md rani super gold kala sona maharaja. The treatment date variety proved most remunerative economically feasible for cultivation agro-climatic U.P.
